The Integrity Chamber of Sint Maarten organizes Integrity Symposiums as a platform for open dialogue, reflection, and collaboration on building a culture of integrity within society. These events bring together local and international experts, government officials, private sector representatives, and the wider community to discuss pressing issues related to transparency, accountability, and good governance.
Each symposium highlights a central theme and features keynote presentations, panel discussions, and interactive exchanges with the audience. Through these gatherings, the Chamber seeks to deepen understanding of integrity challenges, share best practices, and inspire collective action to strengthen integrity systems in Sint Maarten.
- The first Integrity Symposium was held on May 26, 2023, under the theme “Building Integrity to Build a Nation”, which focused on the foundational elements of integrity and the collective responsibility to overcome challenges.
- The second Integrity Symposium was held on November 18, 2025, under the theme “Whistleblowing – Encouraging Accountability”, which emphasized the courage of whistleblowers and their role in promoting transparency and accountability across all sectors.
Together, these symposiums reflect the Integrity Chamber’s ongoing commitment to fostering awareness, dialogue, and action in support of integrity as the cornerstone of good governance.
