Integrity Chamber Participates in OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum in Paris

The Integrity Chamber of Sint Maarten participated in the 2026 OECD Global Anti-Corruption & Integrity Forum, held from March 23–27, 2026, at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris, France. The Chamber was represented by Director, Ms. Charna Pompier, and Policy Advisor, Mrs. Amanda Browne.

Held under the theme “The Integrity Advantage: Powering Competitiveness and Prosperity,” the Forum brought together representatives from the public and private sectors, along with international experts and institutions, to explore how integrity and anti-corruption efforts can actively support economic performance, resilience, and innovation.  Discussions focused on the role of strong governance, enforcement, and data-driven integrity systems in preventing fraud, improving decision-making, and fostering environments where ethical business and sustainable growth can thrive. Sessions addressed a range of topics including, promoting a whole-of-society approach to integrity, advancing leadership and culture in ethical governance, building resilience to organized crime and strengthening transparency and accountability frameworks.

The Forum provided the Integrity Chamber with an opportunity to further understand how effective integrity systems can contribute to national development, particularly within small countries such as Sint Maarten. The insights gained highlighted the importance of transparency, ethical governance, and robust oversight in strengthening economic resilience, enhancing investor confidence, and building public trust. Participation also allowed the Chamber to gain insight from the perspectives of international counterparts. The knowledge acquired through this engagement will support the Integrity Chamber in strengthening its advisory role, enhancing its awareness activities, and contributing to the continued promotion of good governance and integrity in Sint Maarten.
