The Integrity Chamber successfully completed its first set of 2026 Integrity Awareness Sessions on February 25 and 26, engaging Grade 2 students at four primary schools across Sint Maarten: the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. School, the Prins Willem Alexander School, the Ruby Denise Labega Primary School, and the Sr. Borgia Catholic School.
During the interactive sessions, students were introduced to the meaning of integrity and how it applies to their daily lives as they explored the importance of honesty, kindness, responsibility, and making good choices.
A special highlight of the visit to the Prins Willem Alexander School was the presence of the Honorable Minister of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, Melissa Gumbs, who joined the session and emphasized the importance of integrity education in shaping responsible young citizens.
The Chamber also launched its new integrity coloring book featuring Ivan the Iguana, designed to reinforce key lessons through storytelling and creativity, allowing students to continue learning about integrity beyond the classroom.
These sessions form part of the Chamber’s broader initiative under the theme Integrity Re-imagined through Education, aimed at fostering ethical awareness from an early age.
The Integrity Chamber looks forward to continuing its student engagement sessions in the coming weeks as it expands its outreach to additional schools.
