The Integrity Chamber has reached nine additional primary schools across St. Maarten through its 2026 Integrity Awareness Sessions, continuing its mission to engage young students on the importance of strong values.
From April 14–21, the Chamber visited Grade 2 classrooms at Sr. Magda Primary School, Helmich Snijders – Hillside Christian School, St. Dominic Primary School, Sr. Marie Laurence Primary School, MAC: Browlia F. Maynard Campus, Sr. Regina Primary School, The St. Maarten Seventh-day Adventist School, The Asha Stevens – Hillside Christian School, and MAC: Rev. John A. Gumbs Campus.
Through interactive and engaging presentations, students were introduced to the concept of integrity and how it applies to their everyday lives. Discussions highlighted the importance of honesty, kindness, responsibility, and making positive choices both in school and at home.
An additional 300 of the Chamber’s custom “Ivan the Iguana” coloring books and colored pencils were distributed to reinforce these lessons in a fun and memorable way. This brings the total number of materials distributed during the 2026 sessions to approximately 500, allowing students to continue exploring the topic beyond the classroom.
The sessions have been well received by educators. One principal shared, “We appreciate the organization’s effort to promote good moral standards in our school and community.”
Through relatable and interactive initiatives like these, the Chamber seeks to emphasize the importance of instilling strong values from an early age and to promote a culture of integrity within the community.
The Integrity Chamber remains committed to expanding its educational outreach and developing new initiatives that encourage ethical awareness among the island’s youth.
